Testing That Actually Explains What's Happening
Standard bloodwork tells you if something is severely abnormal. It rarely tells you why you feel the way you do. Nabella Health uses advanced diagnostic testing interpreted directly by Dr. Safdieh to find the contributorsa routine physical typically misses.
What Advanced Diagnostics Can Include
Depending on your program and clinical needs, diagnostics at Nabella Health may include:
Comprehensive hormone and metabolic lab panels
Genetic testing
Gut microbiome testing
Advanced body composition analysis through DEXA scanning
Cancer prevention and early detection screening
Neurological and cognitive assessment
Sleep evaluation
Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)
Why Interpretation Matters as Much as the Test
A lab result without clinical context is just a number. Every diagnostic ordered at Nabella Health is reviewed and interpreted by Dr. Safdieh as part of your full health picture.

-
Bloodwork can be completed at a local Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics and, depending on your insurance plan, may be eligible for insurance coverage. Specialty diagnostic testing, prescriptions, and supplements are not included and are the patient’s responsibility.

Advanced diagnostics at Nabella Health often go beyond a standard annual panel — including genetic testing, body composition, and specialized hormone or gut testing — and are interpreted within a broader functional medicine framework. Our testing goes beyond standard bloodwork. Blood testing may include vitamin and nutrient levels, comprehensive thyroid and metabolic markers, insulin levels, advanced cardiovascular risk markers, inflammation, hormones, and more.
When appropriate, we also offer specialized diagnostic testing to take a deeper look at areas that aren’t typically evaluated during a routine physical. This may include comprehensive stool testing for gut health, urine and salivary hormone testing, and testing for environmental exposures such as mold and heavy metals. Genetic testing can be used to better understand inherited health risks and inform more personalized screening and prevention strategies.
